Fun Promotions July 2019 News
July is a busy/fun month for Fun Promotions LLC….we start off with the Pontiac Lake Challenge / MMBA CPS race Sunday July 14th. One of the more advanced trails in SE Michigan, Pontiac Lake Rec Area is a great venue as we help the DNR celebrate 100 years of the Michigan state park system. Cycletherapy of Waterford is again hosting and will be on site offering support at the race. Please join us Sunday July 14th. Elite/Experts at 10am, Sport classes at 12:30pm, Kids race at 2:30PM and then Beginners classes at 2:45PM. Day of registration will be open from 8AM till 2PM.
The 8 hours of Ithaca kicks off our endurance/team racing format … coming Saturday July 20th our Evening endurance race from 4pm until midnight is once again hosted by Terry’s Cycle of Alma. Solo, two and four person teams will see how many laps they can do in 8 hours…post race meal and awards starting at 12:30AM. Bonus…Hollywood Racks will be giving away a hitch mounted bike rack to one lucky racer. Registration / check in open at 2pm until 3:30pm. Get your team ready for some FUN!
The BigM Challenge MTB race is Sunday July 28th. Stop # 7 of the 2019 MMBA CPS is hosted by NORTE of TC (learn more here www.elgruponorte.org). A short race day with 2 different starts: 10AM Elite/Experts and PLUS the Sport men’s classes 19-49 will take to the trail. 7.8 miles per lap – elite/experts doing 3 laps, Sport classes 2 laps and 1 lap for the beginners. 12:30pm Start for the balance of the Sport classes and the Beginners will take to the trail. Kids race goes off 2pm, Day of registration will be open from 8am till Noon. Join us in Wellston for the BigM challenge MTB race.
